Overview
SCADERIS Alarm Gateway is a gateway between the Galaxy's alarm provider and alarm clients, allowing you to add additional attributes configured in a database to alarms.
The Alarm Gateway is a template that is configured and deployed in a standard way in the Galaxy.
Its implementation is simple and fast.

The additional information added to alarms allows operators to better locate the alarm, apply advanced filters, and respond more effectively.

Template
SCADERIS Alarm Gateway comes as a base template that you simply import into your Galaxy.
No software installation is required; everything is contained within the Galaxy, in compliance with System Platform standards.
Configuration
Alarm Gateway configuration is done via a specific tab when editing the template.
It is therefore stored within the Galaxy like the configuration of all other templates.
The database search key can be in the format <Tagname>, <Tagname>.<AttributeName>, or <AttributeName>.
Database
Additional alarm attributes are configured in a SQL Server database table.
The database name, table name, and column names are fully configurable.
Compatibility
Alarm Gateway is compatible with all versions of System Platform from version 2014 R2.
License
The Alarm Gateway license is valid for a specific Galaxy.
The number of Alarm Gateway template instances is unlimited.
